Inkigayo releases “Greeting Song” MV feat. B2ST & 4minute
On the April 14th “Super Concert Wonderful Jeju” special for SBS’s “Inkigayo“, Cube labelmatesB2ST and 4minute teamed up for a collaboration music video promoting Jeju Island.
With the beautiful natural scenery of the island as their backdrop, the two groups sang an adorable song for the island to both raise awareness and promote tourism towards the island.
Members also greeted fans of different countries like Japan and France, before finally concluding with “Welcome to Korea!”

Block B - Freeze on M! Countdown
The seven member team is led by main rappers Zico and Kyung, “Birth of a Great Star” contestant and main vocalist Taeil, sub-rapper P.O., and sub-vocals Jae Hyo, U-Kwon, and B-Bomb. Their debut album was produced entirely by leader Zico and Kyung.
Having seen their debut stage reduced to just 2 minutes on Inkigayo last week, Cho PD tweeted before today’s performance that it would also be the same on M! Countdown. He tweeted, “They said that the boys’ M! Countdown stage will be cut down again today. I’m upset of course, but I’m more hurt over the BBCs that will be disappointed. I’m sure that if Block B shows the best stage they can today and that BBC helps them get more known, they will one day be able to perform two, even three tracks.”
Their title track, “Freeze“, is an electronic hip hop track that aims to showcase the talent of each and every member...

‘Block B’, were trained to write 100 songs to develop their skills
Producer Cho PD praised the talents of Big Bang while revealing that he was training his own boy band, Block B, with the support of big name hip hop veterans. The producer revealed that wanted to ensure that his boys would debut with all the right skills.
In his interview with Newsen, Cho PD stated, “Any idol singer should have the competence of musicians like Big Bang.”
Cho PD followed up by explaining how he trained the members of Block B to work on writing and composing about 100 songs over the course of their training period. In training them to become singer-songwriters, Cho PD hoped to expand their experience and competence level, as well as promote ‘expert ease’.
Composer Assbrass, who was praised as being a ‘prodigy’ before Jo PD scouted him, is in charge of Block B’s title and follow-up tracks, while hip hop veteran Rhymer is the producing head for the entire album.
Cho PD stated, “SM Entertainment has Yoo Young Jin and YG Entertainment has Teddy. The two companies are known for their in-house producers, and the sounds they produce have become trademarks for the labels. Under the support of Assbrass and Masterkey, Block B learned how to become musicians themselves and developed their own essence and sound.”

Block B members share the personal obstacles they faced in order to debut
Cho PD’s Block B finally unveiled themselves earlier today, and much attention is now being put on the individual members. allkpop was informed by Brand New Stardomthat all seven members endured their fair share of hardships before they came together to be the group they are today.
The group’s oldest, Jaehyo, was actually a trainee for B2ST but eventually had to give up his dreams and return home after injuring his knee with heavy rehearsals. When he received surgery for his knee, he was later encouraged by MBLAQ’s Lee Joon tostand up and try again. Under his support, Jaehyo mustered the bravery to try out once more, and fortunately passed.
Maknae P.O. was actually eliminated during the group’s first official audition. He tried out again a year later after losing 10 kg and training intensively to improve his vocals and dance skills. Cho PD watched over his progress, and decided to include him in the final line-up, opposing the voices encouraging him to drop P.O.
Cho PD’s personal ‘dark horse’, member U-Kwon, was also a trainee that failed his camera test in the beginning of their training. After the shock of the experience, he geared up his determination and came back for a second audition, essentially stunning everyone in the room with his favorable profile.
Kyung was chosen as a trainee while he was studying abroad in New Zealand, and is also one of the most experienced members of the group. He was dropped from the final line-up for Block B because Cho PD felt that he would be a better fit as a leader for another group. However, Kyung fasted for 10 days afterwards, and worked to prove himself once more in order to become a member of Block B, which eventually led Cho PD to give into Kyung’s determination.
Leader Zico, like the rest, was also dropped from the initial line-up because they felt that he didn’t have enough what it took to be a leader. According to Cho PD, a true leader needed to have the will to stand up eight times after failing seven. After suffering a brief period of depression, Zico picked himself up again and returned to wow the crowd for a second time.
Main vocalist Taeil is already well-known for being eliminated from MBC’s “Birth of A Great Star“. Taeil didn’t let that stop him, though, as he later tried out for Cho PD’s audition and passed, managing to go straight into recording for Block B’s title track.
Rounding out with member B-Bomb, the industry has their eyes set on these sevenmembers and are already anticipating what they’ll be bringing to the table.

They rised so fast until they got high profit and not only for them but also for their label company as well. Big Bang, one of the famous group for example managed to collect approximately RM50 million in 2007.

T.O.P confesses that he is embarrassed when he sings~
Recently appearing on MBC’s “Park Kyung Rim’s Star Night,” Big Bang revealed the member who can reach the highest note.
During their guest appearance yesterday on the radio show, Big Bang was asked the question, “While T.O.P has a sexy low voice, how high of a note can you hit?” Replying to the listener who supplied the question, Taeyang confessed that among the members, it is T.O.P. who can hit the highest notes and has the sharpest voice. Gdragon further added, “More so than being loud, I usually feel that his voice is extremely loud,” while Daesung described it as more like shouting.
Admitting the confession, T.O.P was quoted replying, “I can’t demonstrate it here but when I record I tend to rip speakers.”
Curious of T.O.P’s high pitch, Park Kyunglim further asked when she could hear T.O.P’s high notes. He replied, “I feel shy and embarrassed when I sing. There’s this pride I have as a rapper.”
For the first time in a live radio show, Big Bang sang their double title tracks “Stupid Liar” and “Love Song.”
